So I'm at college and didn't really bring my full wardrobe. Turns out I'm going to be in a suit a good bit more than expected. I don't want to spend a ton of money considering how much I have at home. I have a navy suit (barely noticeable blue pinstripes), a white shirt with white stripes, and 2 ties. One is a simple navy tie with silver diamonds. The other is a diagonal stripe's tie with steel grey, purple, and lilac. So that makes two combos. If I only want to buy like one shirt or tie or at most one of each what should I get?
What shirt and/or tie should I get to go with my navy suit?
white ..... thats all i have to say
Reply:Shirt: white with NO stripes
Tie: 1. blue so dark it looks black from a distance
2. slate blue (ask a girl, she'll know what this is)
3. red
For extra bonus points, choose a necktie with diagonal red bands divided from the dark blue by diagonal white stripes that are narrower than the red bands. Always very conservative, strikes a strong "dressed for success" image.
Reply:yeah, white or baby blue shirt and a red tie.
