What color braces?

so i am getting my braces on this wednesday and was curious what colors will look good. I was thinking maybe teal or lilac... are these bad colors to have on your teeth. What colors look best?

I'm getting mine Thursday, but I was planning on getting pink and orange. But I think teal and Lilac would look nice. Just not white, clear, black, or dark green. They make you teeth look dirty. And the light ones stain easily. Also don't get a dark color and a light color, like dark purple and yellow, because in pictures it will look like you have gaps. However, if you want less noticeable, get sliver. not the best color, but not that noticeable.

Some colors hold up better than others, depending on what you eat.





Most everyone looks good with the blue spectrum, in my opinion.





But really it's about your own preference.





Mix it up, do holiday colors, school colors, sports team colors. You'll find your niche.





If you're getting stainless steel brackets (silver) the most low profile is the grey or silver.

Reply:just remember that the lighter the color is ,the more it will fade after about a month in your mouth. light blues will turn breen, and lilac may turn light blue. i 'd go for the darker colors if i were you. What about green and pink, on either top or bottom?

my mum hates them and thinks that many colours beome an eye sore!

at all costs avoid white: make your teeth look yellow.


yellow: show how similar to yellow your teeth are.


black: show how un-white your teeth are.

Reply:Silver (gray) rubber bands look the best. After 2 years of having them, silver looks clean and sharp.
