We're having a signature purple drink at our wedding reception, suggestions on cocktail and name of cocktail?

Our colors are Victorian Lilac and Lavender and Ivory.

We want a unique cocktail name thats wedding oriented like "the perfect pear."

We're having a signature purple drink at our wedding reception, suggestions on cocktail and name of cocktail?
the only purple-ish drink I can think of is a shot called the Red Headed Sl*t, which of course you would have to pick a different name for. They are good, though! :)

Good luck!
Reply:Purple Hooters are delicious and oh, so purple- I don't know how they're made, but they can be found in most any bartending guide.

Here are some suggestions for names (since you can't call it a "purple hooter" at a wedding):

So Grape Together (Assuming it's a grape-flavored drink)

Love in Lavender

Or you don't have to mention the color (everyone can see it's purple!) and just call it "Love Potion #9" or something like that.

Another idea- your new last name + "tini" (Example: Johnson-tini)
Reply:The given name of this drink has a really bad word in the name, so I'd suggest renaming it for your wedding, but the combination is SOOOOO tasty.

1/2 oz vodka

1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur

1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur

1/2 oz DeKuyper® Razzmatazz liqueur

1/2 oz sweet and sour mix

1/2 oz 7-Up® soda

In regards to names, what about something like - Purple Passion? Lilac/Lavender Lovers? Or Lavender/Lilac Love...

I don't know - maybe you could try to do something cleaver with your names. Like my name is April and his name is Tim so we had an April-Timmy (Apple Martini)

I hope it helps a little bit. Good luck! ♥
Reply:Make a special martini and just add red and blue food coloring to it. :)

Here's a recipe that will be perfect because it's plum flavored -

Ingredients:

1Part(s)AbsolutVodka

1Part(s)Extra Dry Vermouth

1Part(s)Choya UmeshuPlum Liqueur

2Part(s)Sour Plum Juice

Instructions:

shake and pour into chilled glass rimmed with sour plum powder
Reply:Color wise a drink that comes to mind is a "pornstar" its Blue Curaco, Rasberry sourpuss and sprite. Tastes like a blue slushy. Change the name to something that fits your theme and your set.
Reply:I think you should make the purple drink, garnish it with a pear slice and call it "the perfect pear" It sounds so cute!
Reply:Berry Bouquet

Veil of purple

Confetti
Reply:They have pear vodoka??
Reply:maybe something with passion in the name, good luck!
