How can I clean green stuff off my vinyl siding?

The neighbors have lilac bushes planted about 15 ft from my house. This spring green mold or something from the bushes is on the side of my house. It really looks nasty because my house is yellow. What do you recommend I use to clean it that won't hurt the vinyl. I have used Dawn and it wont phase it.

armorall actually sells a product for cleaning vinyl siding and it works great . As the other person said..DO NOT BLEACH!!! There is also a product called Spray-9
Reply:DO NOT USE BLEACH ON VINYL SIDING! it will fade the color, especially if it is not white, even if it is white you'll see the area you cleaned stand out from the rest of the siding. Power washing with straight water works for me, I had purple stains on white siding from blooming flowers, along with mold and mildew and pressure alone worked. You can rent one if you don't have one.
Reply:Try a mix of bleach and water, i think 25% bleach,75% water, is correct....You can spray it on, then just leave it on, no rinse.,,, if its just a small area you can just apply by hand,, [sponge or something]......Try a very small spot 1st to be real sure that your siding doesn't get harmed, I don't think this can hurt, but be safe........ if not good, increase to a 50-50 mix,......
Reply:If all else fails, try lemon-scented Soft Scrub and a lot of elbow grease: I used that to get red mud off the vinyl siding of my parents' place.
Reply:Use a mold remover and a scrub brush or a pressure washer.
