Wedding ideas?

I'm not getting married for another two years but I'm so excited!





I would like to either have a ceremony on the beach or in a garden.





If it's on the beach I will go barefoot and I was thinking that instead of the flowergirl carrying a bucket of flowers instead of a basket and the color of the wedding will be coral.





If it is in a garden the color will be pink or lilac.





What are your thoughts?

they have little metal buckets at walmart in the fabrics and crafts dept.


often times they also sell flower petals too in the florist dept. OR you can just ask them to save some flower petals for you. they may not even charge you for them!


this is opposed to a florist who WILL charge for the petals :)

Reply:Im getting married on the beach in St john, Virgin Islands on 4/20. My future hubby and I like to be a little unique so *Hooray* NO wedding party NO stupid cake! I will have a photog for an hour and I got a wedding dress from David's Bridal, but everyone is sooo excited and can't wait to attend our non-wedding wedding. We got these cute invitations that have a real starfish and we are taking everyone who comes on a 3 hour sunset dinner cruise as our 'reception'. Bascially, we decided to not waste money on a 'wedding' and we don't live around any family anyway, so they would have to travel regardless and that way we all get a vacation!
Reply:Both of your ideas are great but i suggest that you hold your wedding at a place that both of you had the most happy memories.

Reply:I love both ideas... I almost went for the bare foot beach idea for my wedding last year. I opted to go with a combination of both beach and garden by holding the ceremony in a gazebo that was surrounded by garden flowers and cherry blossom tree's which was located within a few feet from a beach.


I went with lilac and green for my colors.





I like the barefoot beach coral theme though because you could make it a much more casual wedding and wear a long flowy kind of dress...
