I need to redo my room but im not sure how to?
Why don't you paint an evening city-scape on one wall in your room?? You could use the black, blues, violets in this and then you could select the complementary colours as secondary and accent colours in your room (like yellows, oranges, yellow-green, yellow-orange, red, green -- and all the tints, tones and shades that go with those colours.
The beauty with paint on walls is if you grow out of it or it your tastes change, you just repaint!
Reply:One suggestion is to go to a store called Marshalls. They have get random stuff for your home and its super cheap. You may also find the Vera Wang that you want because they have designer stuff too
. When moved in to my first apartment I was obsessed with Pottery Barn I used a page from the catalog of a room i loved to be a guideline for me and I brought less expensive furnishings from ikea/Marshalls and target and i got thee exact look I wanted but for a 10th of the price.
I pull my color stories from throw pillows. I splurge on a great pillow then decorate the room based off those colors.
Reply:I would paint your room "radiant lilac" by Sherwin Williams, with "snowberry" for the ceiling %26amp; any trim.

Then I would get artwork of your favorite cities, like these:

You can also get figurines of the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building, the Hollywood sign, etc.
I don't watch The Hills or Gossip Girl, but you might be able to find posters of those actors. Also, take a look at what their bedrooms look like on the shows, and see if you can find similar bedding, curtains, lamps %26amp; accessories.
