Getting braces tomorrow!?

I'm getting braces tomorrow... what colour shall I get? I want lilac and baby blue is that good??

i always think hot pink is good because it makes it less noticable because its the same colour of lips haha





just dont get black or green!
Reply:yea those are good colors...dont do green tho...i did and it looked like i had stuff stuck on my teeth...also just a little tip...eat and good filling meal right before you get them because your mouth will be so sore you wont be able to eat!

Reply:Always stick to light colours if possible as dark colours can make your teeth look bad. The colours you have chosen are really nice and should go well together. They will seem really wierd at first but the end result will definitely be worth it! Good Luck x
Reply:a lot of ppl think that green looks bad or dark colors look crappy....but they really dont . i have green and blue n they really look great . ur colors sound good 2 . when u do get braces though...take a tylonol before u get 2 the office . then take em after 2 . u wont be sore if u do this . also load that wax on their....they will cut u . good luck :]
Reply:Juts experiment until you get ones you really like. You'll have the option to change colours everey six weeks or so.
Reply:Get clear ones. They have colored rubber bands you can use with them to change the colors up once in a while. You'll have them for a long time!
Reply:It depends on how old you are....I am 24 and will only have grey.....pink is PINK!!!! it won't match your gums at all....baby blue might be ok...lilac might be ok as long as it isn't hey look at me neon colors!
Reply:Always get dark colours or ones that are darkish because if you get light ones they fade easily and never get yellow or white because it just shows how much your teeth are yellow :S and make sure you brush brush brush (Y) Good Luck :)
Reply:lilac and baby blue are gorgeous colours, my daughters bedroom is lilac and baby blue and it looks beautiful. But why dont you wait until you actually get there and ask to see the colour chart for the brace band colours, then decide. Good luck hunni :-)
Reply:Just do whatever color you like, but sometimes they don't let you get colors. It depends how well you brush your teeth. So brush brush brush! I got bright pink, but last time I got light pink. It looks like white. So don't get that color!
Reply:yes a nice minty green colour is nice baby blue lasts long the bright pink wears and goes yellow :(





you can get glow in thew dark at my dentist collio ask if u want

Reply:I think lilac and baby blue are beautiful colors for your braces. It's very girly, sporty and cute. If you're eyes are blue, then your braces will go really well with it. Some other choices if you do not like the lilac and baby blue are; pink, orange, hotpink, yellow, lavender and red. The colors I have now are pink and orange and they look great! (I have dark brown eyes, I'm an african-american and I have black hair) I've gotten a lot of compliments for the bright colors that I choose so my little motto is: the brighter the color the brighter the compliments. i have braces now, and i actually like having them. they're kinda like an accessory to me! but i've found that if you get light colors on your braces (pink, lilac, baby blue, etc) then the braces will look smaller and they won't stand out as much.





i've also found that if you get darker colors (especially navy blue) then your braces will stand out more.





I USUALLY GET NAVY BLUE!!! haha!





but you def should take some tylonal/motrin/advil/whatever u take for headaches, because when i first got my braces, i didn't think that headache meds would help, but it makes sooooo much of a difference.

Reply:yeah like i like what you chose i think i am giong to get that next time...! ha ha. yeah those are good. and take care of them and dont break anything! i just snapped my wire yesterday...haha. and i have had the for 3 months and broken 2 brackets
Reply:I've had braces for 10 months and i got pale pink (my dentist is evil cause my mum dumped him like ages ago so now he holds a grudge against me) he wouldn't let me get 2 colours AND he hurts my mouth :(





ANYWAY... i think lilac and baby blue is GREAT .. my sister was going to get lilac but she couldn't see the colour through her goggles that she was wearing to get them on so she chose the ones she could see.





Advice : don't eat chicken korma - my braces are now fluoresent yellow. LOL

I think it's because I just stick with the silver ones =] x
