Why did my mouse only have 2 babies?

My broken spotted blue and white mouse bred to my lilac/tan male only had two babies in her litter...whats up with that? She is about a year old but the male was less mature. Could it be that my male was young (even though he was adult size) or that she just might be prone to small litters?

It's actually kinda cool because now those twins will grow up really strong and I can keep them all. And if she is prone to small litters then that is goon because I would like to keep future litters if I can.

Why did my mouse only have 2 babies?
lucky i think
Reply:luck
Reply:i dont know how u just keep them . but may u like them and the answer 2 ur question is tht u have not taken care of them
Reply:im so sorry she only had 2 i cant tell u why she only had 2 only that i guess thats all she was to have at 1 time or your cat got them all and left u 2...
Reply:perhaps she is into zero population control!!! smart mouse!! I am happy you like them, I would have had you to my house to catch one that got in. I finally got it and had to wash and sterilize my entire house because they are gross animals.
Reply:yeah right...and my keyboard is sexually active, too.
Reply:Consider yourself lucky. Now if your mouse breaks, you have 2 backup mice. Every time mine breaks, i have to go out to BestBuy and get a new one. It would save me a lot of money if my mice had baby mice. Unless they're not optical mice, then I'd just sell that crap on eBay and pay for an optical one, or maybe a laser mouse.
Reply:it's normal.(sort of.) just happens rarely
Reply:I think you are right and she's prone to small litters.

She may have a larger litter next time.
Reply:do u have a cat?
