Don't forget flowers (if you are wanting them for the tables). Florists are hard to get because they stay booked up in most places. Congratulations on finding someone you want to spend the rest of your life with!
Reply:Save the date cards, invites, traditional mother of the brides gifts.. do you have the location reserved? Great places can be booked as far as 2 years in advance. Are you going to have room to dance? Do you have special songs listed to make sure the DJ has them on hand (you'd be surprised at how many songs you would assume he should have, he may not). Pick your flowers, make they are in season when you want to have your reception...
Take a virtual walk through your reception... is there anything missing?
Reply:invitations?
gift baskets for out of town guests?
transportation or a hotel room?
guest book?
Reply:Will you still be together in a year or two? Is this a celebration of your union or just an excuse for an expensive party?
My boss had a huge wedding reception in an international park at the Blaine border crossing. Even though it was held the last weekend in August, it rained so hard that they were drenched. Within 6 months they were living apart and within the year, they had separated. The divorce is taking longer than the wedding plans and arrangements.

Go to theknot.com. Follow their checklists.

Check out their budget calculator too.
You may not want or need everything mentioned at the Knot, but it's a good place to get ideas . . . . and a good place to make sure you haven't missed a thing.
Reply:Hi and congrats!
Looks like to me, you have it all covered! I was going to say flowers, but I see you added that. Good luck!
Oh....guest book
Reply:What dances are you having? And to what songs?
