Its the time of year that the big, horrible spiders come in doors. I've had loads in my living room (red walls) but none in the bedroom, bath room or kitchen (pale lilac or pale blue walls) Is it just a coincidence?
I know this sounds like a crazy question, but do spiders prefer dark coloured walls?
Probably they like red walls. Or maybe they just hang out in the living room to watch TV. you never know. Maybe that's why spider man has a red costume.
Reply:Beware of the recluse!!! They are surely in dark places! Report It
Reply:Yeah, a coincidence..FYI....the original working title of the Beatles movie.."HELP!"......"Eight Arms to Hold You"
Reply:Yes they like dark walls and dark places so their camouflage works.
Reply:Yes because dark coloured walls heat up quicker in daylight .
Reply:well they like darkness
Reply:no
Reply:Its not crazy at all.
Not necessary that spiders need dark coloured wall. It only depends on how dirty the place is.
Reply:funny you should say that. My bedroom has purple walls and I've had loads of big, nasty, ugly, creepy spiders in there lately but not the rest of the flat.
Reply:To be honest I do not know . A crazy question .....no not at all.
Flies are attracted to yellow so it would not surprise me if spiders where also attracted to a certain shade. Usually spiders are attracted to areas where their food source is attracted to, I think this is the most likely scenario but who knows ?
Reply:I have them and my walls are light blue
Reply:Actually spider prefer any place anywhere as long as there is food available for them to eat. IF not he will move on down the road jack and dont come back./
Reply:You should start a scientific experiment
but it would make sense if they do i suppose
Reply:They like dark places. But they also probably like dark walls, if the spiders are dark, so that they blend in.
